Atlas Ensemble

Atlas Ensemble strives to be one of the top chamber-orchestras in the world, led by core musicians from Hong Kong. The instrumentalists are all specifically selected from the best of the young generation. 

Founded by pianist/conductor KaJeng Wong in 2025, the orchestra has performed three Mozart concertos under his leadership with critics praising their sound and interpretation of worldclass quality and with potential to be a thriving force in the music scene, representing the best of Hong Kong/Asia. Atlas Ensemble draws inspiration from the likes of Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and English Chamber Orchestra, with a strongly knitted bond among the members and the soloist/conductor. 

Led by concertmaster Brian Choi, Atlas Ensemble is engaged to do a complete Beethoven Piano Concertos project in April 2026 at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall, performing with four piano masters from Hong Kong - Hui Ling, Cheng Wai, Mo Cheung-Yu, Chang Tao. Other projects including Mozart Piano Concertoes no. 19-24, with pianists Mary Wu, Nancy Loo from Hong Kong, and international youngsters Eric Lu and Kate Liu. The ensemble is honoured to be presented by the prestigious Shanghai MISA festival in 2026, performing Three Mozartiers with rising stars Magdalene Ho and Jiaxin Min. 

Atlas Ensemble is part of the Atlas Project presented by Music Lab. Music Lab is kindly supported by the year grant from Hong Kong Arts Development Council and the Arts Capacity Development Fund Scheme from the Hong Kong Government. 

由來自香港的核心音樂家領導，鼎奏樂團致力成為世界頂尖室內樂團之一，所有器樂演奏家均精選自年輕一代的精英。

鼎奏樂團由鋼琴家兼指揮家KJ黃家正於2025年創立，在其帶領下於香港大會堂音樂廳演出三首莫扎特協奏曲，樂評盛讚其音色與演繹具世界級水準，極具潛力成為樂壇新勢力，代表香港乃至亞洲的最高水平。鼎奏樂團以美國奧菲斯室內樂團及英國室內樂團為楷模，成員與獨奏家／指揮之間凝聚著深厚默契。

首席為小提琴家蔡君楊，鼎奏樂團將於2026年4月在香港大會堂音樂廳展開貝多芬鋼琴協奏曲全集計劃，與四位香港鋼琴名家——許寧、鄭慧、毛翔宇、張韜合作。2026其他計劃包括莫扎特第19至24號鋼琴協奏曲，與香港鋼琴家吳美樂、羅乃新以及國際新星陸逸軒與劉珒合作。樂團更榮獲上海MISA音樂節邀請，於2026年與新星何惠慈及閔嘉欣演出《鼎奏莫絕》。

鼎奏樂團是Music Lab旗下「Atlas Project」的項目之一。Music Lab獲香港藝術發展局年度資助及香港政府文體旅局藝能發展資助計劃支持。
