Beethoven: The Late
A three-concert series devoted to half of the pilgrimage by Beethoven. Three most respected pianists of Hong Kong, Nancy Loo, Hui Ling and Chang Tao begin this three-part journey by the last three sonatas, Op.109, Op. 110, Op.111. On the same day, Rachel Cheung will perform the majestic and diverse Op. 101, preceded by Cheng Wai’s undertaking of the Op. 90 sonata, before the “Hammerklavier” sonata played by KaJeng Wong.

The Last Three Mozartiers
Nancy Loo, Chang Tao, and KaJeng Wong join forces with the Atlas Ensemble to complete our Three Mozartiers journey of performing ten piano concertos by Mozart. This evening features the last three concertos by Mozart—a truly rare occasion where these lesser-heard final works take center stage together, exploring a completely different world than the obvious favorites that came before them.

Shanghai MISA Festival - Three Mozartiers: KaJeng Wong, Jiaxin Min and Magdalene Ho X Atlas Ensemble 上海夏季音樂節 （MISA) - 鼎奏莫絕 —— 黃家正、閔嘉欣與何惠慈演繹莫扎特
Following the successful debut of Three Mozartiers: 19-21 in 2024 and 22-24 in 2025, Atlas Ensemble will tour in Shanghai MISA Festival with two rising star pianists, Jiaxin Min & Magdalene Ho, who have made their marks on world’s stages since their successes at the Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.

KJ Wong Piano Recital: Tribute to Death KJ黃家正鋼琴獨奏會：死亡奏鳴
A decade since Tribute to Death was once played in 2014. A personal project devoted to the remembrance of KaJeng’s grandmother. The concert is built from Liszt’s Pensee des morts and the Sonata in B, before Shostakovich’s Prelude and Fugue in D minor and Faure’s Requiem, transcribed for piano solo.

Atlas Ensemble: FIVE Beethoven 鼎奏樂團：鼎奏五貝
Two evenings of the complete Beethoven Piano Concertos in April. FIVE Beethovens opens with the exuberance by pianist Hui Ling on the first concerto in C, while the delightful No. 2 in B-flat by Dr. Cheng Wai. The adamant No. 3 in C minor will be served by Prof. Mo Cheung-Yu while the spiritual No. 4 in G Major mastered by Prof. Chang Tao. Only the “Emperor” in E-flat eventually led by play-conductor KaJeng.
