Legendary Jazz musician Eugene Pao returns to Hong Kong City Hall after Ted Lo: Tribute to JAZZ to present an important milestone production, paying tributes to the heroes of his musical career. Eugene Pao: TRIBUTES continues his legacy of decades in excellence and personal craft.
A decade since Tribute to Death was once played in 2014. A personal project devoted to the remembrance of KaJeng’s grandmother. The concert is built from Liszt’s Pensee des morts and the Sonata in B, before Shostakovich’s Prelude and Fugue in D minor and Faure’s Requiem, transcribed for piano solo.

Second installment of the four-part series devoted to Beethoven’s sonatas, Rachel Cheung will perform the majestic and diverse Op. 101, preceded by Cheng Wai undertaking of the Op. 90 sonata. Before the “Hammerklavier” sonata played by KaJeng Wong.
Two evenings of the complete Beethoven Piano Concertos in April. FIVE Beethovens opens with the exuberance by pianist Hui Ling on the first concerto in C, while the delightful No. 2 in B-flat by Dr. Cheng Wai. The adamant No. 3 in C minor will be served by Prof. Mo Cheung-Yu while the spiritual No. 4 in G Major mastered by Prof. Chang Tao. Only the “Emperor” in E-flat eventually led by play-conductor KaJeng.
